About Brick Scouter Ted
BrickScouter Ted is a former Cub, Scout and Venturer. As a youth he attended CJ’81 and the XV World Jamboree both held at Kananaskis Country Alberta (although he travelled from opposite ends of the country as he lived in Halifax, NS in 1981 and had moved to Victoria, BC by 1983).
As an adult he returned to scouting as a leader in for his son’s local cub pack where he was known as Rikki-Tikki-Tavi for two years before stepping in as Akela. Most recently he joined the Area Team as DAC Cubs for Greater Victoria.
LEGO Fan
As an adult, BrickScouter Ted also rediscovered his passion for LEGO and was for several years the Chief Blockhead for the Victoria LEGO Users Group (www.VicLUG.ca). After attending several AFOL events and seeing some wonderful creations with a scouting theme an idea began to percolate. Now every time he participates in a LEGO display his Brick Scout troop can be found enjoying a hike or other activities.
